Owing to the growing spread of COVID19, it has been decided to stop the walk-in Miscellaneous Consular Services at the Embassy of India with effect from March 16, 2020. The services will continue to be provided through Postal mail/shipping.

POLICE CLEARANCE CERTIFICATE FOREIGN NATIONALS

Applicants with foreign passports (other than Indian passport) applying for PCC may provide complete details of their stay in India, including date/month/year of their stay with complete residential/official addresses.

How to Apply (in Person):

1.

Download the Miscellaneous Application form and fill it up carefully. Each applicant is required to fill up separate Miscellaneous Application form and affix his/her photograph on the same.

2.

Applicant’s current valid passport in original and its photocopy. Original and photocopy of the document showing valid US STAY PERMITS (for non US nationals).

3.

Original and photocopy of any of the following documents as proof of residence: US Driving License, Utility Bill, Lease Agreement, State Identity Card, or Mortgage Deed.

4.

Carry all original supporting documents for presentation to the Consular Officer. Photocopies of these documents may be attached with the application.  Ensure that photocopies of these documents are legible.

5.

Fee:  A fee of $40.00(Forty Only) and an additional fee of US$2.00 (Two Only) to be added towards Indian Community Welfare Fund (ICWF) per application. The fees may be paid in cash or as money order/cashiers’ cheque, drawn separately towards fee and ICWF, in favor of Embassy of India, Washington DC.

 

Applying by Mail:

 

Follow the same procedure to fill up the application and enclose the same required documents and Fees as detailed above in the section ‘how to apply in person’. Send in the filled-up application set enclosing a trackable pre-paid self-addressed return mailing envelope. Incomplete applications will be sent back, indicating the requisites to complete the application.
