In this endeavor, your support and contribution is well recognized and I hope that you will continue to contribute whole heartedly in the days ahead as well.

5. The largest democracy in the world and home to the second largest population in the world, India also has the distinction of having the highest percentage of youth. About 65% of our population is under 35 years of age, which amply manifests our potential to make rapid strides in progress and development in the coming years.

6. Presently, general elections are being held in India in 7 phases and the exercise is scheduled to be completed on 23 May with the declaration of results. With 900 million eligible voters, this is the biggest democratic exercise on earth.
