A delegation led by Mr. John Rood, US Acting Under Secretary of State for International Security and Non-Proliferation held bilateral talks with an Indian delegation led by Mr. K.C. Singh, Additional Secretary (International Organisations) in the Ministry of External Affairs. Discussions covered a wide range of issues, including global nuclear non-proliferation challenges, export controls and regional and global efforts to prevent proliferation. During his visit, Mr. Rood also called on Foreign Secretary, Mr. Shivshankar Menon and Special Envoy of Prime Minister, Mr. Shyam Saran.
