Notice for Inviting Tenders for hiring buses

Embassy of India, Washington DC, invites quotations for renting of 07 buses of 50 seating capacity for one day (picking up & drop off location is not more than 50 miles radius) from reputed firms for transport from locations in Maryland, Virginia and DC to Capitol Hill and back on June 16, 2018.

Interested firms may send representative to the Embassy [Contact person - Mr. Vijay Chauhan, Attache (Administration), Phone no.202-939-7034 to check the actual scope of work before submitting quotations. The quotations may be sent in sealed envelope clearly mentioning on the envelop Tender S.No 1/2018 and "QUOTATION FOR RENTING 07 BUSES OF 50 SEATING CAPACITY FOR 06 Hrs" addressed to:

Firms should provide details of management, owners, nationality, origin, experience in the field of work, satisfied clients and list of similar works done by them in the last two years.

ANNEXURE

SCOPE OF WORK

The scope of work is as under: -

  1. From Maryland to US Capitol West Lawn, Washington DC and back (3 buses)
  2. From Virginia to US Capitol West Lawn, Washington DC and back (3 buses)
  3. From 2107, Massachusetts Avenue NW to US Capitol West Lawn and back (1 bus)

CONDITIONS

  1.  The Contractor shall note that they should not deviate their work during the contract period working with the Embassy of India.
  2.  The Employer will not be bound to accept the lowest or any tender nor to give a reason for the rejection of any Tender.
  3. The Embassy, however, will always have the right to accept or reject any pre-approved subcontractor even after formal award of Contract and/or commencement of work with or without cause.
  4. The successful Tenderer shall be responsible for coordinating his work with chauffeurs of time of pick-up and drop off at different locations in Maryland, Virginia and Washington DC.
  5. Letter of guarantee for work for a period of one year is required.
  6. Eligibility of Contractor - Contractors should have good experience in the relevant field of work and submit recent list of jobs done with specified names of clients.
