NOTICE

     Government of India has extended the last date to apply for conversion of PIO (Person of Indian Origin) Card to OCI (Overseas Citizen of India) Card until June 30, 2017. All PIO cardholders are hereby advised to utilize this opportunity to convert PIO cards to OCI cards before the deadline of June 30, 2017, as the same may not be extended further. The conversion process to OCI card would not require any extra scrutiny or additional documentation except the copies of the U.S. passport, existing PIO card and the copy of residence proof.
