A Visa Camp was organized at the Greater Richmond Convention Center at Richmond, on Saturday, October, 24 2015 from 10 am to 2pm. The visa camp was organized by CKGS in cooperation with Indian Community in Central Virginia, Richmond during 34th Festival of India 2015. Applicants were invited to attend the Camp by appointments and few walk in's for Indian Visa, OCI and Renunciation.

Festival of India placed promotional information about the Camp in the fliers and sent E-Mail to their members of their community. Festival of India had several Volunteers at the event to support CKGS Staff and to offer Applicants assistance with check lists and appointments.

CKGS had set-up a reception desk to dispense tokens and Documentation Check Lists; Three Counters for Documentation Verifications and One Counter to Collect Payments. When Applicants walked in they were greeted by CKGS Staff at the reception and given a Token. After a few minutes of waiting, Applicants were called to CKGS Documentation Verification Counters. Applicants proceed to the Cash Counters to make payments and obtain their receipts. If documentation was incomplete the Applicants were given a check list with missing documents highlighted.

There were about 125 applicants that visited the Camp and that were serviced and advised on Documentation Requirements on various applications. 107 applications were accepted at the India Visa Camp.
