Outsourcing of Visa, OCI / PIO Cards and Renunciation of Citizenship services of Embassy of India, Washington DC and other Indian Consulates Generals in the US - Extension of time limit for acceptance of 'Financial' and 'Technical' bids at the Embassy of India, Washington DC

 This has reference to Request for Proposal (RFP) uploaded on the website of Embassy of India, Washington DC on March 26, 2012.

2. It has now been decided to extend the time limit for acceptance of both ‘Financial’ and ‘Technical’ bids at the Embassy to Tuesday, May 29, 2012 (03 PM). Earlier, the time limit was Thursday, May 10, 2012 (03 PM). Accordingly, ‘Technical bids’ would now be opened at 04 PM on May 29, 2012 (04 PM).

3. Kind attention of prospective bidders is again invited to Addenda No. 2 and 3, already posted on the website of Embassy of India, Washington DC on April 25, 2012 and May 4, 2012 respectively. The ‘Financial’ and ‘Technical’ bids should be furnished taking into consideration the original RFP and Addenda 2 and 3.

4. With reference to item No. 2 of Addendum No.3, it is clarified that “only one 'Technical Bid'; incorporating proposals on original RFP + Addenda 2 and 3 (all in one) has to be furnished.”

5. It is, however, reiterated that two ‘Financial’ bids’, as detailed in item No. 1 of Addendum No. 3, would have to be furnished.

6. Quotations in different combinations would not be acceptable. Those prospective bidders, who have already dispatched their bids in view of the earlier deadline of May 10, 2012, are required to send fresh bids (both ‘Financial’ and ‘Technical’), by the new deadline of May 29, 2012.The old bids (already dispatched), if and when received, would not be opened at the Embassy and would be returned to the concerned bidder, if desired.
