Advisory for the Indian Students of the Tri-Valley University, California

Washington, DC

The Embassy of India, Washington DC and its Consulates in the United States are continuing their work with the concerned US authorities to provide help to the affected students of the Tri-Valley University.

It is further learnt that the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Student Exchange and Visitor Program (SEVP) is attempting to assist the former TVU students to continue their academic pursuits in the US.  At present, a significant number of former TVU students have begun the process to transfer to a new academic institution through the SEVP directly or reinstatement through U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).

To assist former TVU students, the SEVP has provided specific guidance for the students on their website (www.ice.gov/sevis), and has also set up a call center, the SEVP Response Center (SRC), to answer specific questions (703.603.3400). The SCR is operational from 0700 -1800 hours, seven days a week.
